Student Grievance Redressal Cell

The Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell at Christ College of Science and Management, Alambady, is a statutory body established to address and resolve student grievances in a fair, transparent, confidential, and time-bound manner, in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Grievance Redressal of Students, 2019.

The Cell is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students can approach the authorities without fear or prejudice.

Objectives of the Cell

Guided by the principles of natural justice and fairness, the SGRC works to:

  • Provide a platform for students to voice their grievances and concerns

  • Ensure prompt and impartial redressal of grievances

  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and student-centric campus environment

 

Functions of the Cell

 

The SGRC is responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing student grievances

  • Conducting inquiries and investigations as required

  • Recommending appropriate remedial measures

  • Ensuring follow-up actions and implementation

  • Enhancing student satisfaction and institutional trust

  • Supporting the overall well-being and success of students

By providing a safe and structured grievance redressal mechanism, the Cell ensures that student voices are heard and addressed effectively.

 

Online Student Grievance Redressal Mechanism

(As per UGC Regulations on Grievance Redressal of Students, 2019)

Christ College of Science and Management has implemented an Online Student Grievance Redressal Mechanism to facilitate easy access, transparency, and timely resolution of student grievances.

All students are encouraged to submit grievances through the online mode only, as prescribed below.

Procedure for Submission of Grievances

A. General Grievances (Non-Examination Related)

Grievances related to academic or administrative matters (excluding examinations) shall be submitted through the online grievance form:

 

B. Examination-Related Grievances

Grievances related to Internal Assessment (IA) marks, evaluation, or conduct of examinations shall be submitted via email to: examgrievances@christcollegemalur.com

Instructions for Students

  • Students must clearly mention:

    • Name

    • Programme & Class

    • College ID

    • University Register Number

    • Detailed description of the grievance

  • Anonymous or incomplete submissions will not be entertained.

  • Grievances will be addressed by the Student Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC) within the stipulated time frame as per UGC norms.

  • Grievances shall be accepted only through the online mechanism.
