Institutional Innovation Council (IIC)​

At Christ College of Science and Management, we proudly host the Institutional Innovation Council (IIC), an initiative by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, in collaboration with MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE. The IIC is established with the aim of systematically nurturing a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking within our institution. Our IIC actively works to engage a large number of students, faculty, and staff in diverse innovation and entrepreneurship-related initiatives. These include: Ideation and Problem Solving Sessions, Proof of Concept Development, Workshops on Design Thinking and Innovation Methodologies, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Awareness Programs, Project Development and Pre-Incubation Support.We are deeply committed to fostering a robust innovation ecosystem that empowers students to transform ideas into impactful solutions. Rather than limiting efforts to occasional or isolated events, our council takes a proactive and structured approach—strategically planning and consistently executing IIC initiatives in alignment with national innovation and entrepreneurship goals. Our top leadership is actively involved in promoting innovation-driven education. We have put in place a structured framework for resource mobilization, capacity building, and collaboration, ensuring that the creative potential of our youth is fully realized. Our IIC is not just a functional body—it is a catalyst for sustainable innovation, a hub for nurturing future entrepreneurs, and a driving force in transforming ideas into realities that contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.
