The Anti-Drug Committee at Christ College of Science and Management, Alambady, is a dedicated body committed to creating a safe and healthy campus environment by preventing substance abuse and promoting a culture of well-being. Guided by national policies and guidelines, the committee works to educate students about the risks and consequences of substance abuse, while fostering a supportive community that encourages healthy choices. This committee will ensure a drug-free campus by imposing a total ban on the possession or consumption or use of drugs and alcohol by students of the college within or outside the campus/hostels.

 

The committee's objectives include:

 

• To raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and its impact on individuals and society.

• To provide support and resources for students struggling with substance-related issues.

​

• To promote healthy lifestyle choices and stress management techniques.

​

• To collaborate with local authorities and organizations to address substance abuse on campus and Educating the students regarding the ill effects of drugs and alcohol, encouraging peer policing among students against the use of drugs and reporting of any noticed use of drugs by the students to the Anti-Drug Committee/Students Welfare Office.

 

Through awareness programs, workshops, and counseling services, the Anti-Drug Committee strives to create a campus environment that is free from substance abuse and conducive to the overall well-being of students. By promoting a culture of responsibility and respect, the committee aims to empower students to make informed choices and lead healthy, productive lives.
